Plan Your Run

Sketch Fate Stones, spells, crafts, and resonance before entering the underworld.

Last updated:

The Reap and Rush Build Planner is a wiki tool for sketching runs before you spend Soul currency or lose a biome three attempt to incompatible tags. Slot Fate Stones, assign Yin Spells, load Paper Crafts, and verify Five Elements resonance breakpoints — Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, Earth — without in-game RNG pressure. Use it alongside Builds Hub and Tier Lists.

What the planner solves

In-run shops force snap decisions. The planner answers: “If I take Pierce Seal now, can I still hit Metal Resonance by biome two?” It also flags missing duty tools when you target Underworld Duties achievements from Achievements Guide.

How to use it

  1. Pick an Envoy baseline from Envoy Tier List. 2. Add stones from Fate Stone Items. 3. Assign spells from Yin Spell Items. 4. Slot crafts from Paper Crafts Items. 5. Check resonance math against Five Elements Builds. 6. Export mental plan — enter run.

Planner vs in-game reality

Shops RNG still varies. Planner shows possible paths, not guaranteed drops. Meta unlocks expand pools — Getting Started explains Soul spending.

Boss planning mode

Before How to Beat Bosses, reserve one craft slot for freeze and one stone slot for stagger or pierce. Planner templates highlight boss-ready slots in Early Access.

Companion and relic slots

Optional fields note Companion Tier List picks and relic proc chains from Companions & Relics Items.

Updates and codes

Balance patches may invalidate planner defaults — read Updates. No promo shortcuts — Codes Page.

Planner limitations (honest)

The planner cannot simulate shop RNG seeds or elite spawn locations. It can prevent impossible resonance paths before you start. Treat output as a checklist, not a guarantee. Streamers showing perfect runs often had rerolls you cannot see — your planner plan still beats no plan.

Sharing plans with friends

Screenshot planner layouts when discussing co-op future or friend race clears. Include envoy, three tag targets, craft slots, and boss phase notes. Link friends to Builds Hub for vocabulary so “Metal Resonance pierce” means the same thing.

Mobile and Deck usage

Planner works in mobile browsers for Steam Deck browser sessions between runs. Use it during load screens — not during combat — to respect Steam offline moments.

Planner workflow with tier lists

Step one: pick envoy from Envoy Tier List. Step two: assign stones from Fate Stone Tier List. Step three: lock spells from Yin Spell Tier List. Step four: sanity-check boss phase crafts.

Theorycraft etiquette

Planners reduce failed runs; they do not replace skill checks in Combat Basics. Share screenshots with friends instead of pasting unfinished tier list hot takes. When the planner updates for new biomes, revisit old plans — stale resonance paths waste more time than one lost run.
