Fate Stone Builds — Reap and Rush

Best Fate Stone combinations and build templates for Reap and Rush Early Access runs, resonance setup, and Soul shop priorities.

Last updated:

Fate Stones are passive run modifiers — the first system you touch every run in Reap and Rush. They alter stats, add element tags, and sometimes rewrite rules (double dodge, Soul magnet explosions, duty bonus Souls). Think of them as the skeleton; Yin Spells and Paper Crafts are muscle. This guide lists Early Access templates, shop priorities, and when to break resonance for utility stones.

Stone acquisition

Stones appear on level-up choices, biome shops, and rare duty rewards. You can hold up to six by default — expandable via meta ledger upgrades using Soul currency between runs. Duplicates stack numerically unless marked Unique in gold text. Compare individual stones on Fate Stone Tier List and stat text on Fate Stones Items.

Template: Metal pierce starter

Pick an Envoy with Metal bias → first stone Pierce Seal → second Cooldown Ink → third Metal tag stone to approach Resonance. Pair with single-target Yin Spells from Yin Spell Builds. Excels vs elites and bosses in Boss Guide.

Template: Water control learner

Prioritize slow and magnet stones — forgiving for Combat Basics students. Add one Paper Craft slot stone early. Slower kills but safer duty escorts in Underworld Duties.

Template: duty farmer

Stones boosting underworld duty payouts and escort speed — often Earth-tagged. Lower peak DPS, higher Souls per minute for meta unlocks. Stack with Companion Tier List duty auras. Achievement hunters pair with Achievements Guide.

Shop spending order

  1. Fill empty stone slots. 2. Upgrade Rare → Epic duplicates. 3. Reroll only when one slot blocks Resonance. 4. Save Soul currency for ledger between runs — do not reroll into bankruptcy mid-biome. Sketch shops in Build Planner.

When to break Resonance

Utility stones — extra craft slot, revive token — sometimes outweigh a third matching tag. Break for one biome, re-sync before boss. Element math lives in Five Elements Builds.

Stone rarity and run power curves

Common stones carry one keyword; rare stones combine two; epic stones often include element tags essential for Five Elements Builds. Unique stones can redefine a run — double dodge, convert kills to duty progress — but cap at one copy. Power spikes hardest when your third tag completes resonance mid-biome-two; plan shop routes accordingly. If a shop offers epic pierce vs rare tag completion, take the tag unless boss is next room.

Ledger unlocks that change stone pools

Meta purchases expand which stones appear in level-up rolls. Unlocking stone archive tiers before chasing perfect runs reduces frustration — you will see pierce options more often. Soul costs escalate; budget in Getting Started before buying cosmetic ledger tabs. Achievement hunters sometimes unlock duty stones first for faster Achievements Guide progress even if boss DPS dips temporarily.

Stone sell vs keep heuristics

Keep any stone that completes a tag triangle within two shops. Sell flat health stones after resonance unless biome three boss is next and you lack sustain. When reroll prices spike, leave shop and finish a duty for Soul injection — Underworld Duties often pay more than one reroll saves.

Build craft closing notes

Early Access rewards players who document one working resonance per element before chasing optimized tier lists. When Beijing Pacifier Technology patches stone pools or spell forks, we update Updates first — then Builds Hub child pages. Keep a ten-run log: envoy choice, third-tag timing, boss craft used, duties finished. Patterns emerge faster than copying highlight clips without context. Cross-link every run goal to Underworld Duties or How to Beat Bosses so power spikes have a purpose.
